Greggs Lane

Greggs Lane runs off Tangier Street behind Tangiers Buildings and connects up with Kelsick Lane and dates from the middle of the 18th century.

Greggs Lane

There is not much of interest on Greggs Lane but the Indian Restaurant on Tangier Street used to be the Blue Bell Inn for nearly 200 years with its entrance on this street.

Classical moulding on wall

This classical motif at the top of the gable end may have been from the time when the Blue Bell Inn was the home of Lodge No. 157 of the masons at the beginning of the 19th century.
