Captain Senny's on Senhouse Street is named after Captain Richard Senhouse who bought the land and built Tangier house named after Tangiers where he presumably made his money. That in turn gave its name to Tangier Street. His name in was later given to Senhouse street which runs parallel to the former, and has this pub.
